Pink Quick Links Homepage Only

It has been necessary to change the Home Page style to use a new section to draw the Pink Quick Link links for the Homepage entitled ‘Pink Quick Links Homepage Only’ : If you update the content @ ‘Pink Quick Links Homepage Only’ you will update the Homepage. If you update the ‘ Pink Quick Links’ this will update the other levels and cascade down as it has done previously (unless there is a custom ‘Pink Quick Links’ section in the lower level).

How does the Course Search work?

The course search searches web page names that are physically in the root of the course section of the website  http://www.marjon.ac.uk/courses/courses/  - not the entire website. If you want any courses to appear from the search then it needs to be added to the courses section of the website. One way of doing this is  to create a duplicate branch under  http://www.marjon.ac.uk/courses/courses/  which does not show in navigation but allows for the course to come up under the course search.  This would need to be done for any other non-standard courses if you wanted to use the course search for them.

Changing the name of a web page but keeping the existing URL

I want a web page with the: name 'Foundation Degree Early Years | Child Development' but retaining the existing URL of 'FdA Early Years (ChildDevelopment)' Modify the Section  - On the the General tab Enter the following (as below): Name: Foundation Degree Early Years | Child Development URI: FdA Early Years (ChildDevelopment)  Update the section.

Add a third piece of content using the 'Right Hand Colum' content template in the new section: 5. You can add the text from the old profiles and even crop the original images. Select the old profile and click 'Advanced'   6. Scroll down and click 'Add Variant'. Select 'Crop' and crop to the size that you want (my example is 223px by 279px). Once done, just select the new version of the image for the content. 7. Click 'Update' and the co

'Comment on this page' added to all Computing and Media Services web pages

A new 'comment on this page' area has been added to the bottom of all Computing and Media Services web pages - http://www.marjon.ac.uk/facilities/computingandmediaservices/   This will enable any person reading the web page to highlight any issues with the page and also comment on the existing content. An email is automated to indicate the page commented on and the comments made.  Once trialled, the intention is to add this to all UCPMarjon web pages.
