Instructions for changing the Right Hand Boxes

1.       Existing content for all of  the Right Hand boxes exists @ Home\Style Assets\Right Hand Column. If you want to change content on all the other pages change it here and as it is mirrored content it will update on the other sections.

2    We Created a sub branch entitled ‘Right Hand Column’ @ Home\Courses\Courses\Course Search by Subject Area\Sport, Outdoor, Coaching and PE\ MA Applied Sport Development and mirrored content from ‘Home\Style Assets\Right Hand Column’ for the two pieces of content other than the laptop one.
3.       We duplicated the branch ‘Home\Courses\Courses\Course Search by Subject Area\Sport, Outdoor, Coaching and PE\ MA Applied Sport Development\Right Hand Column’ into ‘Home\Courses\Courses\Course Search by Subject Area\Sport, Outdoor, Coaching and PE\MA Physical Activity & Health in Applied Sport Dev’ with the following options:

Section to Copy into – the section you are copying into
Content Options – Mirror Content
Tick the other 4 options

Click the ‘Dulicate’ button

4.       Repeat process 3 to duplicate the branch to the other sections that only require 2 Right Hand items.

FYI you can change the Right Hand Column at any section by creating a ‘Right Hand Column’ branch at the correct section and add content to it using the ‘Right Hand Column’ template.

The only sections using the Right Hand Columns at the moment are ‘Courses\Courses\coursesbysubjectarea’ and ‘\Research’.

To add the right hand column to other areas simply change the Style at the level you want using ‘Modify Section’ and choosing the ‘Styles’ tab. Change the ‘Marjon 2010 website’ channel style from ‘Inner Page’ which is the 2 column style to ‘Inner Page 3 Col’ and click update.
