The homepage uses the '2016 Homepage' page layout



Content 

 There are 9 pieces of content that make up the homepage as follows:




1. Slideshow  - Homepage Slideshow content type  - defines that you want a slideshow on the page. Select the social media icons if needed on the page.



2&3. Homepage Slides 1 & 2 - Homepage Slide content type - the images that comprise the slideshow from the media library (need to be 1440px x 900px)

4.  Call to action row - Call to Action Row content type



5. Three Signpost Box - Three Signpost Box content type -  the images are used are from the media library (need to be 480px x 480px)






6. Information Strip - Information Strip content type. No link (blue)

7. News Tag More - News Tag More content type. Latest 4 news item by date tagged for Homepage. Images need to be 480px x 480px.



8.  Information Strip - Information Strip content type. With link (red)


9. Large Image Wrapper - Large Image Wrapper content type. The image used are from the media library (need to be 1440px x 900px)

The University will soon be upgrading from version 7 to version 8 of TerminalFour SiteManager.  Below is a first look at the enhanced user interface.  There are a number of added features and enhancements including Google Analytics measurement -y ou can use analytics to collect data about traffic to your pages, conversation rate, types of visitors, bounce rate and many other things. This allows you to measure and analyse the impact of your web data so you can improve the effectiveness of your pages. I will provide updates on when we will be upgrading SiteManager and provide a schedule of training which will specifically look at the changes between V7 and V8 on the staff news pages.  If you would like to know more information on SiteManager 8 and the upgrade then feel free to email me.
